There are many interesting places to visit in the surroundings of Lohja Spa. Elias Lönnrot’s childhood home, Paikkari Cottage, is located just about 15 kilometers away in Sammatti. For those hungry for culture, the area offers several fascinating destinations, such as the ironworks villages of Fiskars and Billnäs, and the Mustio Manor. In the center of Lohja, you can descend 100 meters underground into the Tytyri Experience Mine.”
